Corneliu Vadim Tudor was born on November 28, 1949 in Bucharest, Romania. He is the foundor of "The Great Romania" party and one of the most famous Romanian politicians.
Biography and Career :
He graduated high-school in 1967 and in 1971- the Faculty of Philosophy in Bucharest with a thesis about religion sociology. In 1978 he receives a one year scholarship- Herder international award and he studies History in Viena.
In 1992 he becomes senator in Romania's Parliament. At the 1996 general elections at which he runs for the presidency of Romania he was situated in the fifth place (having other 15 candidates to outrun). In 2000 he runs again for presidency but he obtains only 30% of the votes.

His party's doctrine is that of the study, cognition and dissemination of the Romanian national values.
He was often accused of xenophobia and anti-Semitism. But in the last years he tempered his speech by adopting a pro-European and philo-Semith position.
He was tried having many insult and calumny accusations because of his "Great Romania" written articles (signed with his real name and with his underground name- Alcibiade).
