Ty Murray was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 11, 1969. His parrents were Joy Murray and Butch Murray. He is a famous rodeo cowboy, and he won his first contest when he was five. At the age of nine, he rode his first bull.
In 2002, he retired from rodeo. In 1999 he met the singer Jewel Kilcher, whom he married. Together, they wrote the song "Till We Run out Of Road".
