Rodney George Laver (born in 1938) is a former Australian lawn tennis player.
Short Biography:
He was one of the greatest left-handed players, and the only player to perform the Grand Slam twice (1962 and 1969).
He won four Wimbledon singles titles, the Australian title three times, the US Open twice, and the French Open twice. He turned professional after winning Wimbledon in 1962 but returned when the championships were opened to professionals in 1968.
