Philip Edward Thomas

Philip Edward Thomas Philip Edward Thomas (1878-1917) in 1916 he published Six Poems under the pseudonym Edward Eastaway; volumes under his own name were Poems in 1917 and Last Poems in 1918.

Thomas was killed in action in World War I at Arras. His wife Helen Thomas (1877-1967) published the biographical volumes As it Was in 1926, and World without End in 1931.
