
Paul Codrea (full name Paul Constantin Codrea) was born on April 4, 1981 in Timisoara, Romania. He is a famous Romanian football player.
Biography and Career:
Paul Codrea began his career playing for Banatul Timisoara in the B Division. He made his first appearance in the First Romanian Division(Divizia A) in 1997, when he was only 16 years old, while he was playing for Dinamo Bucharest in a match versus Gloria Bistrita. Because he was very young he didn't play too much and he was transferred to Politehnica Timisoara, in the B Division
Because of his fabulous skills at such an early age he was transferred in 1999 to FC Arges Pitesti, a team from the 1st Romanian League.
Even though he hadn't become an essential player for FC Arges, his remarkable talent and skills took h
im to Genoa FC 1893 in 2000.
In 2003 Paul Codrea signed a contract with Palermo (Italy - Seria A) but he didn't play too much and he was transferred at the middle of the season to AC Perugia.
In the season 2004- 2005 Paul Codrea played for the B division team, Torino Calcio.He played in almost all games (35) here and he scored once.
Next season, 2005-2006, Codrea turned back to Palermo but he didn’t convince this time either, he played only 12 games.
At the beginning of the season 2006-2007 he signed for AC Siena, a team from Serie A.
In the European Cups, Paul Codrea played only 6 games for Palermo (UEFA Cup).
For the National team of Romania he debuted on November 15, 2000 in a friendly game against Yugoslavia which ended with Romania's victory, 2-1.
