Linda Hamilton (full name Linda Carroll Hamilton) was born on September 26, 1956 in Salisbury, Maryland, U.S. She is a Saturn Award-winning, Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated American actress, best known as for her roles as "Catherine" in Beauty and the Beast and as Sarah Connor in The Terminator and its sequel, Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
Biography and Career :
She had attended Wicomico Junior High, Salisbury, Maryland. Probably the role that helped her become a famous actress all over the world was as Sarah Connor in "The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgment Day". She won the Saturn Award and received nominations for the Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.
Other roles she had had were in television series and movies like "Beauty and the Beast", "Shadow Conspiracy", "On the Li
ne", "Robots Rising", "The Color of Courage" and "Dante's Peak".

Between 1979 and 1980 she was married to Peter Horton and between 1982 and 1989 to Bruce Abbott. They have one boy, Dalton Abbott. On July 26, 1997 she married James Cameron. They have one child, Josephine Archer Cameron, and after two years got divorced.
