Kristin Kreuk (birth name Kristin Laura Kreuk) was born on December 30, 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She is a young and popular Canadian actress best known for the role of Lana Lang in the American television series "Smallville".
Biography and Career :
Her parents are Peter Kreuk (of Dutch descent) and Deanna Che (of Chinese descent). In high school she practiced gymnastics but she had to quit in the eleventh grade because of scoliosis. After she graduated from Eric Hamber Secondary School in Vancouver she planed to study psychology, environmental science, or forensic science at Simon Fraser University but she renounced when a cast director asked her to play in the CBC TV series "Edgemont".

fter the first season she earned the lead role in "Snow White: The Fairest of Them All". She became really famous when she got a role in "Smallville", a TV serial about the life of Clark Kent before he became Superman. After she renounced in 2003 at her role in "Edgemont" she obtained in the next year the role of Tenar for the Sci Fi Channel two-part miniseries "Legend of Earthsea".
She also made commercials for Neutrogena like other stars like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mandy Moore. She had cameo appearances in "Eurotrip" and "Partition". In 2006 played in a short movie "Dream Princess", a modern sci-punk retelling of the tale of Sleeping Beauty. She is very beautiful, young and talend and her career is just at the beginning so we are all sure that she will amaze us with many great doings in the future.
