She started a modeling career when she was only 13 years old. She sent some photos to modeling agencies and at only 11 years old people saw her as a model.

She started appearing in the ELLE, Cosmopolitan and Vogue magazines. Being spotted by the famous Victoria's Secret lingerie firm launched her career even more. The appearance in the Dolce and Gabbana advertisement in 1997 and in the Guess campaign made her famous all over the world. She appeared on the catwalk of Chanel, Fendi, Kenzo and John Galliano.
