Biography and Career :
Her parents are Jerry Hagerty and Harriet Yuellig and they are divorced. When she was 15 she started a real modeling career after signing a contract with Ford Models. She worked a lot as a model in New York so in 1972 moved there. In 1979 happened her off-Broadway debut in "Mutual Benefit Life". Julie started a serious career as an actress and from 1979 has appeared in movies like "All That Jazz", "Airplane!", "Lost In America", "Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy" and "Just Friends".
In 1986 she got married to Peter Burki, but they divorced after 5 years, in 1991.
