Irina Rodnina (born in 1949) is a former Soviet ice skater. Short Biography:
From 1969-1980 she won 23 world, Olympic, and European gold medals in pairs competitions. Her partners were Alexei Ulanov and then Alexsandr Zaitsev, who became her husband in 1975.
