Homer Simpson is the main character in "The Simpsons" animated television series.

Biography :

The person who voiced this character is Dan Castellaneta. Homer is the kind of overweight, incompetent, intolerant, clumsy, thoughtless and alcoholic type of men
His hair was brown but now is bold.

One of his jobs is as Safety Inspector of Sector 7G at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Before that he worked in a taco restaurant called the Gulp n' Blow and then was lead singer and songwriter for the barbershop quartet the Be Sharps.

He is portrayed as a stupid and lazy person who sometimes has got brilliant ideas and reflections on his own values. His wife is Merge and the couple has three children: Bart, Lisa and Maggie. Abraham and Mona are his parents and Herb Powell his half sibling.

He studied at the Springfield High School and 1974 was the year when he fell in love with his actual wife. Interesting and funny is that the grunt "D'oh!" has been included in the Oxford English Dictionary.

He is the head of the family and maybe the most important character in the series. Simpsons publications, toys and other merchandise was done using him and even a book written about Homer's personality and attributes. We are sure that people all over the world know this character and they are very happy and enjoy watching him.
