Harry Ruby was a famous songwriter and screenwriter from America, he was born in New York on October 29, 1895. Initially Ruby failed in his beloved ambition which was to become a professional baseball player.

His fantastic music can be heard in the following films:

- Bright Lights (1935)
- Walking on Air (1936)
He passed away on February 23, 1974.
