I personally knew Gloria fron 1947 until about 1955. I believe she was born in Illinois and moved to California in the 40's.
She was on the cover of many Romance magazines in the late 40's and also the Ladies Home Journal
We were good friends and went to movie premiers and played a lot of minature golf when I was in the service, 1951 to 1955, stationed in Victorville, Santa Monica, Long Beach and Oxnard.
