Catherine McNeil was born on March 30, 1989, in Brisbane, Australia. She was influenced by her family support to join the world of modeling.
Her first victory was in a modeling competition organized by the magazine Girlfriend at the age of 14. Following her victory, Catherine visited New York. After getting quite known in the modeling scene in the city, she was signed up by Next Models. Catherine went back to Australia and was, soon, seen in magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
Three years later, she moved to New York. She has graced the ramp for high profile fashion labels like Versace, Valentino and Givenchy. In late 2007, she worked with Donna Karan.
