She studied at the San Diego State University. Her father, Jackson Langton, is the author of the novel "All Trappers Do Not Wear Fur Hats". Her mother was a surgical nurse. She started her career as a model and she worked a lot in Japan especially, but then she became an actress.
Two of her first important roles were in "Baywatch" in 1992 and "Melrose Place". Then she received the main role in the television series "The Net" where she was Angela Bennett.
She also played in "The Replacements" alongside Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman, "Swingers", "Partners", "Playing Mona Lisa", "Kiss the Bride", "Primeval" and "The Kingdom".
