Black Coffey is an R & B band. It is fronted by two brothers, the duo, Jason and Clay Coffey. They were born and raised from Lexington, Kentucky. They grew up and developed their passion and talent in music from their early years singing in church choirs. Black Coffey singers were raised in a family of musicians and music lovers.Their sound is influenced by soul, R& B, and gospel.

When they were asked about the idea behind the name Black Coffey, Clay said: "In our family, we always say that coffee grinds down fine and brews deep, and that's what our music does. It grinds down to the essence of soul music and it brews deep, rich and flavorful."

Why are they famous?

The band is famous for its music. Some of their songs include, title hits such as "Hey", "Spill", an d Stevie Wonder's classic "Rocket Love."
Their music has been featured on Black Entertainment Network as Rated Next artist. They have appeared on Soul Train and toured with numerous of artist.
