B.B.King also known as Riley B. King, was born on September 16, 1925 in Itta Bena, Mississippi, USA. He is a famous guitarist and song writer.
King started his career by working in a local radio channel "WDIA" as a singer. In 1946 he went to Memphis for the first time but left again for Mississippi.
King was named after working in the radio channel, and was popularly named as "Beale Street Blues Boy".
He did his first recording for the Bullet Record Transcription company and has made several other hits in the 1950s like, "You Know I Love You", "Woke Up This Morning" and "Please Love Me". In 1964 King recorded his album, " Live at the Regal" in Chicago. He has also appeared in the show, "Crossroads Guitar Festival II".
