Ashley Force was born on November 29, 1982, in Yorba Linda, California. Her father is John Force, a famous drag racer. She was always interested in racing and had started working as a racing car mechanic when Ashley Force was in high school. But young Ashley wanted to be behind the steering wheels.

Ashley Force began racing in the Top Alcohol junior circuit. She won many races during her first season. In 2004, she finished fourth.
Ashley and her family took part in the reality show Driving Force on A&E Network. She proved to be naturally adapted to the needs of the show.

Gradually, Ashley Force conquered the tracks of the Top Alcohol circuit and got the chance to enter the Funny Car segment. Finally, she was able to get into her father’s racing team, John Force Racing in 2007. Now Ashley had to race with her family members. She raced against her brother-in-law Robert Hight.

Ashley and her father made history when they competed in the same race in April 2007. Stunningly, Ashley won the race and her father was overjoyed at this.
In late 2007, Ashley turned out to be the first woman to enter reach the Funny Car series final.
