Anouk Teeuwe was born on April 8, 1975 in The Hague, Netherlands. She is a famous Dutch singer. She formed a band named, "Shotgun Wedding" and used to perform in small weddings and occasions before she met Barry Hay from the "Golden Earring", who was the friend of her ex-husband Edwin Jansen.
After making a duo with co writer, Bart Van Veen she wrote many hit songs like, "Nobody's Wife" released on September 5, 1997. Even her debut album, "Together Alone" was a huge success, and in 1998 she won two awards from the Dutch Music Channel, "TMF".
Anouk released her second album, "Urban Solitude" in November 1999 which includes the hit single, "R U Kiddin' Me", and later in March 2001, she released her third album, "Lost Tracks", for which she was awarded the "Popprijs" in 2001.
To escape
the pressure of fame she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in December 2005, continue to give two concerts in Antwerp, Belgium, and four concerts at Ahoy' in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. After her settlement in Netherlands she released the album, "Who's Your Momma", and now she currently teaches at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. She also got married to the front Rapper, Remon Stotijn on March 16, 2004. Right after the birth of three kids, the couple announced their separation in 2008.
