Anna Popplewell (full name Anna Katherine Popplewell) was born on December 16, 1988, in London, England. She started taking drama lessons by the time she was 6 years old.
She was first seen in a TV show role in 1998 in the series Frenchman's Creek. Anna also appeared in two movies Mansfield Park (1999) and The Little Vampire (2000). In 2000, she also appeared in the show Dirty Tricks.
In 2001, she was seen in the movies Thunderparts and Me Without You and then in the TV show Love in a Cold Climate. She also had a short tole in the TV show Daniel Deronda. In 2003, Anna Popplewell was cast in the movie Girl with a Pearl Earring as Maertge.
In 2005, she voiced for the video game The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. She also acted in the movie and played the
role of Susan. The movie became a hit and even grabbed an Oscar. She received an Entertainment Award and also got a nomination at the Teen Choice Awards.
In 2008, the sequel The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian was released. Anna played the same character of Susan and received good responses.
