Anna Netrebko was born on September 18, 1971 in Krasnodar, Russia. She is a famous soprano and actress.
Biography and Career :
She attended the St. Petersburg Conservatory because her teachers told her to follow a singing career. Her dream as a teenager was to become an actress. In 1996 she was the winner of the International Rimsky-Korsakov Vocal Competition in St. Petersburg. After ten years she requested Austrian citizenship. In 2002 her performance as "Donna Anna" in "Don Giovanni" at the Salzburg Festival made her a superstar.
Besides having an incredible voice she is extremely beautiful and of course intelligent. She likes to have as her partner on stage Rolando Villazón. The success of her career wasn't achieved too easy. During studies she had to take a job and work
hard. She played the roles of Amina in "La Sonnambula", Pamina in "Die Zauberflöte", Rosina in "The Barber of Seville" and Lucia in "Lucia di Lammermoor" and many others.
In 1995 after conquering the European audience she sang Lyudmila in "Ruslan and Lyudmila" at the San Francisco Opera. The entire world is on her feet and men and women both admire her qualities. She helps others as much as she can and she is ambassador for SOS Children's Village in Austria and sponsor for the Tomilino village in Russia.
