Anita Pallenberg was born in Rome, Italy. She is the daughter of an Italian artist and a German secretary. She became fluent languages at a very young age. She studied medicine, picture restoration and graphic design. She lived in Germany, Rome and New York before she shifted to London. She acted in the play "Paradise Now" which was featured on stage nudity.
In a forty year span she has acted in nearly a dozen films. She played the role of the sleeper wife of Michel Piccoli in the movie Dillinger Is Dead, directed by Marco Ferreri. She played a small role in Micheal Kohlhass - der Rebell which was shot in Morocco in 1969. She als
o acted in the movie Performance as Pherber in 1970. The movie was actually shot in 1968 but it was released for 2 years.
She acted in the documentary about Rolling Stones "Sympathy for the Devil" directed by French filmmaker Jean-Luc Gordard in 1968. After studying for four years at the London's St. Martins School of Art and Design she became a fashion designer in 1990. She spends equal time in New York and Europe and once in a while she is seen in public as a party DJ.
