Alice DeeJay was an electronic music group very successful between 1999 and 2002.

Biography and Career :

The record producers of the band are Pronti, his real name is Sebastiaan Molijn, Kalmani, whose real name is Eelke Kalberg and DJ Jurgen. Their lead singer is Judith Pronk. She was born on December 8, 1973 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The group also has two background dancers, Mila Levesque and Angelique Versnel. Mila had attended the Lucia Marthas dance academy and after the band broke up she continued her career as a dancer. She has a "Lift Me Up" for a lolly-pop commercial. Judith is a freelance hair and make-up artist and she is represented by Touche Models in Amsterdam. Angelique attended the school of Performing Arts in Los Angeles, USA and the high school study at Alv in Aley in New York. In 2004 she founded AV Performing Productions and is a choreographer for different bands and artists.

The group's first single was "Better Off Alone". They had a great success and in April 2000 came their album, Who Needs Guitars Anyway?. They even won the award for Best Chart Act. They continued to release singles but every son released was lower situated in the charts that the previous. In 2002 the band was broken.

Trivia :

- When they won the award defeated bands like All Saints, Jennifer Lopez, Eiffel 65 and the Vengaboys.
