Jeff timmons, a student of Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Artists, was deeply interested in singing and always wanted to make some name in the music industry. He asked two of his class fellows, Nick Lachey and Justin Jeffre to join him in establishing a band with the name, "98 Degrees". Nick called his brother from West Coast to join them as well and soon the group was formed. They were seeking a chance to show the world their talent and amazingly they got an opportunity to sing on a local radio station where they met the co-manager of Montell Jordan, who helped in the upbringing of their debut single, "Invisible Man", which was very much likened and hit the charts at number 12, in 1997. In the same year they released their 1st debut album with the title, "98 Degrees".<
